Felt does not require frequent washing.
However, if necessary gently hand wash and rinse in lukewarm water, using a wool/silk detergent.
Lightly squeeze out excess water (avoid wringing).
After washing - lay horizontally, to shape by hand.
Iron with steam (using wool temperature settings) if needed.
I make all my scarves and shawls from all-natural Italian and German merino wool. I incorporate 100% and pour my heart into every project because I want you to love and enjoy these items for years!
To create my garments, I use the Nuno felting technique. Developed in the 1990s by artist Polly Sterling, Nuno felting involves mixing wool with natural fibers such as cotton or silk during the felting process to produce a soft, lightweight, and breathable material.
